Child Care Allowance - GYES
CHILD CARE ALLOWANCE (GYES):
Eligibility
criteria:
Normally GYES is available to one of the two parents for
their child raised in their own household. But also the guardian of a child
brought up in their own household, and the grandparent regarding to a child
aged 1 or over if brought up in the parent's household are entitled to child
care allowance.
Duration
of the benefit:
If no insurance-based benefits (CSED, GYED) are provided for
the child, GYES is granted from the birth of the child (or from the child's
first birthday in the case of grandparents), otherwise from the expiration of
these benefits, under the following conditions:

Until the child reaches 3 years of age,

For twins, until the end of the year of
compulsory schooling,
·
For chronically ill or severely disabled
children, until they reach the age of 10.
