When you look for an apartment in Hungary and you finally agree with a landlord that you will rent their apartment, some costs should you expect to start your tenancy:
Rent (usually for first month) – Rental cost x 1 – average rent is HUF 195000 but there are significant differences among the 23 districts (cheapest: XX., XXIII. / most expensive: V., II., I.)
Deposit (usually 1-3 months’ worth of rent)
Notary costs (if needed) – Approximately HUF 65000
Translator (if needed) – Approximately HUF 65000
