How to declare your 1+1% tax?
Everyone who works and pays taxes in Hungary needs to file their tax return statement every year. You have the possibility to decide about 1+1% of your personal income tax that you paid in the previous year and donate it to a good cause.

Working hours
In Hungarian law, working hour is defined as ‘the time designated for working, including preparation and finishing works related to the job.’ Transit to and from work doesn’t count in your working hours. Day shifts are between 6:00-22:00, and night shifts are between 22:00-7:00.
